Program Overview

The MEI program prepares certified flight instructors to teach multiengine students in the Diamond DA42. You will learn to instruct from the right seat, demonstrate and explain engine-out procedures, and build the teaching methodology that produces safe, competent multiengine pilots.

Beyond the certificate itself, MEI opens the door to logging PIC multiengine time with every student flight. For pilots building toward ATP minimums or airline applications, this is one of the most efficient paths to competitive multiengine totals.
